Of course, during the winter in Finnish Lapland, guests will find limitless wilderness to explore, exciting ski resorts and Santa Claus’s home – a winter wonderland full of magical experiences and the Northern Lights. However during the summer, this beautiful landscape turns into a veritable summer paradise with warm, long sunny days and endless opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing and much more.

Sweden

Sweden

Sweden is one of the most exciting Nordic countries to visit and no matter the time of year; there is always something exciting to do and discover. Visit Stockholm for a city break full to the brim of culture, art and history. Head to the middle heart of Sweden full of lakes for fresh water swimming, forests to hike through and scenery to guarantee an intake of breath. Then of course there is Arctic Sweden; Swedish Lapland; well known for the world’s first ICEHOTEL, the mountain phenomenon of Abisko for being one of the best places in the world to see the Northern Lights in wintertime and during the warmer months, a midsummer playground beneath the never-setting sun.

Norway

Norway

Norway has lots to offer and will amaze you with its dramatic scenery. From the fjords and their beautiful long coastlines in the south, to the snow-capped mountain tops perfect for skiing in the north, the diversity of the landscape is endless. During the wintertime the Northern Lights light up the skies but in summer you can hike to some of the most untouched viewpoints in the world beneath the Midnight sun. The abundance of wildlife in Norway is a draw for many travellers; the opportunity to spot whales in their natural habitat as they migrate along the coast towards the Arctic seas is a sight to behold and if you set off into the forests you are likely to spot reindeer, moose and many more native species. Norway is a photographer’s dream whatever the weather or season.

Iceland

Iceland

Iceland, a Nordic island nation, is defined by its dramatic landscape with volcanoes, geysers, hot springs, and lava fields. Most of the population lives in the capital, Reykjavik, which runs on geothermal power and is home to the National and Saga museums, tracing Iceland’s Viking history. In the summer you can watch whales play in the ocean, take a helicopter ride over the craters and ride Icelandic horses along the coast. In the wintertime sleep beneath the stars in glass roofed accommodation and head deep into the frozen ice caves. Year round activities such as snorkelling in the Silfra fissure and visiting the many geothermal lagoons are a must!

Greenland

Greenland is the world’s largest island located between the Arctic and Atlantic oceans, east of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago. It is an autonomous territory within the Kingdom of Denmark and one of the most magnificent places in the world to visit. When visiting Greenland guests will truly feel as though they have been transported through time to another world where connectivity to the outside world through wifi, electricity and other technologies is still relatively basic but the connectivity to people, culture and tradition is immensely strong.
